The Dorset Inn is proud to have been awarded Wine Spectator Award for 2008. The essence of The Dorset Inn is all about its history ~ true “Americana”. The Dorset Inn cookbook, Elegant Comfort Food, bring us back in time capturing a real American moment. As a member of The Vermont Fresh Network, The Dorset Inn continues with that tradition incorporating the best locally grown food products. It is with that premise that we have dedicated our wine list exclusively to American wines. Our domestic wines are categorized by varietals and represent what we believe to be some of the best of their kind. Our goal is to expand our regional representation taking time to learn of the best viticulture offerings across the United States. Having said that, we are more than happy to accommodate the tastes of our regular guests by including wines that are not from our native shores on our Guest Selections page.
The restaurant at the inn is open year round. Dinner is served from 5 - 9:00 p.m. nightly in either our cozy fireplaced tavern or the welcoming historic red dining room.
