Dinner at The Dorset Inn, always a treat!

All of us here love food and enjoy sharing that with you. The warm and welcoming ambiance of the historic red dining room and cozy New England tavern allows guests to relax and enjoy the food, the wine and the friendly hospitality. As a member of Vermont Fresh Network, we support as many local farms and businesses as possible. Our cuisine is an uncomplicated, bistro-style that demonstrates classic culinary techniques and traditions with regional influences and reflects the freshest ingredients available. To showcase Vermont's four unique seasons, the menu changes frequently.

Dinner is served nightly at the inn from 5:30 - 9:00 pm. Dress is casual in the Tavern and business casual in the Dining Room.

Check out our sister restaurant Barrows House serving dinner Wednesday thru Sunday beginning at 5:30 pm.

The inn serves Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.  Holidays adhere to different serving schedules and some holidays feature special menus.

Breakfast is served Monday through Thursday 8 am - 9:30 am and Friday - Sunday 8 am - 10 am. We welcome outside guests for breakfast.

Lunch is served Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm by the fire in our cozy Tavern.

We always welcome reservations and recommend them during weekends and peak periods.

Enjoy an intimate evening with our chef, Jon Gatewood, in the BVA Kitchen at Brook Valley Appliance in Manchester. April 22nd at 6 pm. The theme is "Celebrating Earth Day" with the proceeds to support Maple Street School. $40 per person -- pre-registration required.
