All of us here love food and enjoy sharing that with you. The warm and welcoming ambiance of the historic red dining room and cozy New England tavern allows guests to relax and enjoy the food, the wine and the friendly hospitality. As a member of Vermont Fresh Network, we support as many local farms and businesses as possible. Our cuisine is an uncomplicated, bistro-style that demonstrates classic culinary techniques and traditions with regional influences and reflects the freshest ingredients available. To showcase Vermont's four unique seasons, the menu changes frequently.
Dinner is served nightly at the inn from 5:30 - 9:00 pm. Dress is casual in the Tavern and business casual in the Dining Room.
Check out our sister restaurant Barrows House serving dinner 7 nights a week beginning at 5:30 pm with a lite fare bar menu available at 4:30pm.
The inn serves Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Holidays adhere to different serving schedules and some holidays feature special menus.
Breakfast is served Monday through Thursday 8 am - 9:30 am and Friday - Sunday 8 am - 10 am. We welcome outside guests for breakfast.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am - 2:00 pm in our sunny Garden Room or al fresco on the front porch, weather permitting.
We always welcome reservations and recommend them during weekends and peak periods.
